I love flowers and plants.  We rebuilt our garden when we moved in to our home nearly 2 years ago.  There is still a lot of work to do but a lot has been done.  There are many young plants which need time to grow, we have to be patient.  The first image is our "Pierre de Ronsard" climbing rose which I hope will one day grow high.  The second image is a rose I brought back from my grandmother's garden this year.  I think she would be happy to know there is a part of her in our garden.  It's probably my most special plant that we have.

  2. Such a beautiful story with your grandmother's rose. In my mom's garden she has a rose that once grew i my dad's parents' garden - and I really love those stories that come with it.

    1. Inger Marie, I was worried the plants I took from my grandmother's garden would die from the long car journey. I'm so happy they are flourishing. It means a lot to me to look after her plants x

    1. Oh Tamara you are so sweet. I hope your summer has been wonderful. It's hard to see the summer end, especially the warm weather. I don't suppose you have that problem! Elizabeth xx
